Anatoly Lozovskiy, piano
Anatoly Lozovskiy was born in 1957. He finished Sumy (Ukraine) musical specialized school.
In 1987 he was graduated from Donetsk conservatorie (full course of classical piano). He had been working as an
accompanist at the conservatorie in 1987, and he became a senior lecturer there in 1991. Now he works at the "Musical
art of variety-show" department. He teaches to play jazz (piano).
In 1997 he worked in Turkey with classical and jazz things on the program. He had regular
solo-concerts in different concerts halls. Since 1998 he was recorded on Donetsk TV & radio, played in jazz-clab
& Festivals in Donettsk, Kyiv, Gorlovka, Sumy. |
Prize:
A. Lozovskiy is a winner of The Ukrainian Piano Competition (1-st Prize, 1987, Kyiv), Since
1991 he had been working in different jazz-bands, quartet, trio. Working together
they became the winners of Jazz Festivals in Rostov (Russia),
Odessa, Kryvyj Rig, Donetsk, Crimea (Ukraine)
Repertoire:
He has solo program including both classical (Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Chaikovsky) and jazz
thigs.
While playing jazz he follows E.Garner and O.Piterson manner of playing.
